Jonny Hawkins And TinBu Partner To Build Online Cartoon Channel For Digital Publishers

TinBu, a leading provider of interactive content for online-publishers, is pleased to announce they have partnered with Jonny Hawkins to develop an interactive Cartoon Channel. Jonny Hawkins is known as one of America’s most popular single-panel cartoonists, as evidenced by his work appearing in over 600 publications since 1986, including over 72 Chicken Soup for the Soul editions, and in numerous Cartoon-a-Day calendars that are sold nationally in leading retail outlets and online by Amazon.com.

“We work with hundreds of digital publishers, including many newspaper and television websites. For many years we have been asked if we could provide a daily cartoon feature as part of our content offerings,” said John Brier, TinBu’s CEO. “Our partnership with Jonny Hawkins gives us access to his world-class library of single-panel comics in a wide variety of topical areas. The interactive Cartoon Channel will feature daily cartoons in 11 different categories. Users will be able to see the daily cartoon for each of the 11 categories, and also will be able to review an archive of previous cartoons in each category. It total the new Cartoon Channel will feature 100′s of Jonny Hawkins single-panel cartoons while offering online audiences fresh, new cartoon content every day.
