The folks who live in the fictitious town of Letterkenny, Ontario like dogs and they like their beer.
Those two things come together Thursday at a Letterkenny “pup-up store” in Toronto.
Fans of the irreverent CraveTV series are invited to bring their pooches to 277 Queen St. W. between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. for a “pupper portrait” and a chance to get their mutt’s mug on cans of Puppers Premium Lager later this summer.
And even if your dog isn’t one of the five pooches selected you can still get a Puppers can with your pet on the label. The beer is produced by Stack Brewing in Sudbury, where Letterkenny shoots.
On May 18, cast members Lisa Codrington (Gail) and Kamilla Kowal (Bonnie McMurray) will be at the pup-up store pouring samples of Letterkenny Staple Gus N’ Bruno rye whiskey for fans from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
