Telpay Inc. is pleased to announce the release of the latest version of its Telpay for Business software (version 6.6).
Telpay for Business is a comprehensive payment system that allows companies to pay 100% of their payments electronically. Information from the software integrates with most major accounting software modules such as Quickbooks, Simply and AccPac. Types of payments that can be made include bill payment to anyone, payroll and other direct deposits to bank accounts, CRA remittances, international bill payments and processing collection files. All of these capabilities are incorporated into one software system that links to Telpays extensive list of over 45,000 billers and Telpays payments consolidation process.
Most bill payment services allow for only limited payment information to be included with the payment. Telpay for Business allows substantial flexibility so that the recipient can properly post the payments to its accounts. Telpay for Business also provides services that provide for entering the details required by governments when paying taxes, workers compensation, etc.
In addition, Telpay for Business records the accounting distributor of payments made and generates a journal entry to record the details in the companys accounting system. It has an accounts payable module that will also import payments from the companys accounts payable system. Increase your efficiency, making it faster, leaner and smarter. Telpay for Business software has been rebranded with Telpays new colors and logo. The Main Menu has been redesigned for quick ac-cess to commonly used features. The company name and access number are prominently displayed on the Main Menu. The new look may not be the most important but it will be the first enhancement customers see. Login Screen When you click the Access Number drop-down menu, the company name is now listed alongside the Access Number. This is useful for clients with multiple Access Numbers. The software also indicates if there are pending transactions for each Access Number. Update Contact Information Customers can now change the confirmation email address, name and title in their software. Telpays database will be auto-matically updated and staff will be notified. Enhanced Reporting Telpay for Business has a new report generator. Professional-looking reports. Reports are not automatically printed; client can view report and make a choice whether to print. There is now a printer dialog box which allows you to choose the printer where you want the report to print. Export feature export the report to a PDF for viewing and printing later. View/Print History The interface has been simpli-fied so that you can easily select the report that you need Payments to Individuals You can now send a pay-ment to an individual as a simple funds transfer and have payment details emailed to the recipient. The email address of the recipient must be configured when the individual is added or imported.
